Page-local WebMCP

Let a compatible browser assistant search, describe, detect, and run bounded recipes in the open tab.

Open serialize.dev in a WebMCP-compatible browser and let the browser discover the page tools.

Available tools

serialize_search_operations

Search the 504-operation catalogue. An empty query plus pagination.nextOffset can enumerate the complete catalogue.

serialize_describe_operation

Return one operation’s positional arguments, defaults, choices, and input/output types. Describe an operation before composing an automated recipe.

serialize_detect_encoding

Return bounded suggestions for likely encodings. Treat suggestions as hypotheses and verify the decoded result.

serialize_run_recipe

Run up to eight operations in the page. Input encoding is utf8 or base64. Output is returned as UTF-8 text, structured JSON, or lossless Base64 for binary bytes.

  1. Search for candidate operations.
  2. Describe the exact operations to learn argument order and choices.
  3. Detect encoding only when the representation is uncertain.
  4. Run a short recipe with a bounded sample.
  5. Inspect output type before presenting or decoding it further.
